Kambiz has spent more than 25 years building communications systems and solutions for wireless and wireline infrastructure. Most recently, Kambiz was the President and CEO of Applied Micro where he transformed the company into the leading provider of semiconductor solutions for Optical Transport Networks.
Previously, Kambiz held a number of senior executive positions at Cisco Systems including Group Vice President and General Manager responsible for Core Routing. In this role he was responsible for the launch of Cisco’s CRS family of carrier grade platforms. Today these platforms carry more than 60% of the global internet traffic.
Kambiz began his executive career as an integral member of the team that built Stratacom into a global provider of switching platforms for data services. Stratacom was eventually acquired by Cisco for $4.5B.
Kambiz is the Chairman of the Board at Infinera and sits on the Board of Power-One, a leading provider of power and alternative energy solutions. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University.

Senior Vice President Products at The Weather Channel!
Kevin was Chief of Staff, Products at Yahoo, SVP at Oodle, Inc., which powers Facebook Marketplace, the largest classifieds app on the platform. He was responsible for strategy, sales, marketing, international and operations.
Prior to Oodle, he spent 12 years with Microsoft where he held both product ad business roles. Those roles include: General Manager for Windows Live where he was responsible for the product and engineering teams across web email (Windows Live Mail), calendar, contacts, web messenger and other cloud-based services.
He also managed Microsoft’s efforts to develop multi-platform products, services and polices in both anti-spam and anti-virus areas, including establishing cross-industry and government initiatives.
He also served in various business development and planning roles within Microsoft’s online services groups. He studied Computer Science at Suffolk University in Boston.

Matt is currently runs Crunchbase, the well respected TechCrunch database of all things startup. Prior to that he ran product development at Oodle Inc., the company that powers Facebook Marketplace. Prior to Oodle, Matt held senior management positions in engineering, product marketing, and customer operations at edgeio, Forterra Systems, There.com, and RealNames.
Matt began his career in the aerospace industry doing modeling and simulation at Lockheed Martin, UMDC, and Scitor. He received his MS in aerospace engineering at Virginia Tech and BS in mechanical and aeronautical engineering at the University of California, Davis.

Chief Investment Officer
Patrick is a product strategist and finance expert with long record of innovation in online finance, financial services, and computing systems.
As General Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Archimedes, Patrick’s primary responsibility is working with investors in addition to the general responsibilities of being a partner.
Prior to Archimedes, Patrick was the Senior Vice President of Investor Services at LendingClub.com, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s relationship with investors, including fundraising, communications and customer service. He was also responsible for product development and led the new P2P Investing industry with a number of new product offerings, sales channels, and metrics.
Patrick has spent his career leading technology-based innovations, focused on financial products and services. From early experience as a programmer on Wall Street, his professional experience includes serving in technology, product, consulting and management roles at leading financial services companies including Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, and Visa. He has an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT.

Jason is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and investor. Jason has built his career by helping to create innovative products and services at the intersection of marketing and technology.
As Entrepreneur in Residence at Archimedes, Jason is looking for opportunities in mobile technology and applications. Jason also works with existing portfolio companies and helps the team at Archimedes source and vet potential investments.
Prior to Archimedes, Jason has enjoyed a successful as an entrepreneur and has founded several successful companies including Focalink Communications and Swish Marketing. Jason was also a partner at VantagePoint Venture Capital where he invested in successful early Internet technology companies including WhoWhere?, Bamboo, and Foundry Networks.
Jason has an undergraduate degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University as well as an MBA, also from Stanford.
